2023 Call for mentors

Dear ARNOVA Colleague,

Has belonging to ARNOVA benefited you professionally? Are you interested in giving back to the organization by helping more junior colleagues achieve their professional development goals? Are you a post-tenure academic or do you have six or more years of experience working at a professional research institution or nonprofit organization? If you answered “yes” to these questions, please consider becoming a mentor in ARNOVA’s Early Career Mentoring Program!

The long-term objective of this program is to prepare engaged junior scholars and practitioners to be better equipped to make significant contributions throughout their careers to the field of nonprofit and voluntary sector organizations. Mentors and mentees commit to interacting with each other 3-4 times in the year in which they participate in the program, though mentors and mentees are encouraged to continue communicating past the conclusion of the program if they both would like to stay connected. Interactions may be virtual, via telephone or email, and/or in person. For more information about the program in general and the responsibilities of both mentors and mentees, please click the links below.

We hope you can join us!

Best wishes,

ARNOVA’s Early Career Mentoring Program Committee
