One of the main strategic goals of ARNOVA is create an integrated set of programs and activities that support effective education in nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, civil society and voluntary action. To this end members and educators benefit from:

  • ARNOVA-L, our list serve, which often becomes a vehicle through which people seek suggestions for ideas, recommendations of materials to use, and even sample syllabi as they prepare new courses or revise older ones.

  • Publications, such as Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly and our Occasional Paper Series, provide course reading materials.

  • ARNOVA Sections provide a forum for networking, information and resource sharing, building scholarly and teaching capacity, and fostering and disseminating research.

  • Soon to be added to the site will be a Nonprofit Education Resources Forum (NERF) featuring syllabi, case teaching notes, assignments, activities, and other educational resources.
