Given the ongoing coverage surrounding COVID-19 (previously known as 2019 novel coronavirus) and its potential effects, ARNOVA’s top priority is to keep our community safe and informed. With the 2020 ARNOVA Conference more than seven months away, it is far too early (and the situation is far too dynamic) to predict what will be happening in November. As of right now, we are actively planning our annual conference for November 12-14 in Indianapolis, IN. Our conference submission system is open until April 8th (for ARNOVA members; the submission system closes April 1 for non-ARNOVA members) and we encourage everyone to submit a proposal. *UPDATE: now extended to April 27th for all members and non-members.

The ARNOVA board and staff are monitoring the situation daily and following all guidelines set forth by our federal and local governments and health agencies. We are also in close (and constant) contact with local Indianapolis authorities. In addition, we are working with the hotel to ensure that proper control measures and best practices are being implemented.

ARNOVA is similarly closely monitoring the situation for the ARNOVA-Africa Conference* in Johannesburg in partnership with AROCSA, as well as the Symposium on Public Policy for Nonprofits* in Washington, D.C. in partnership with Independent Sector.

Our goal is to keep attendees, as well as the greater ARNOVA community, updated regularly.
