The colloquium welcomes research in all areas that present innovative and rigorous experimental, theoretical, quantitative, and qualitative methods studying social entrepreneurship and social enterprise. If you are looking for paper ideas, here are some:

What do we know about different models of social enterprises in the United States and other countries?

• How does social entrepreneurship influence sustainable economic development?

What kinds of local or regional social enterprise policies have been developed in recent years?

What are startup survival rates of social enterprises?

What new tools have been developed to assess social impact?

What are some examples of greenwashing (false claims about social activities) in social entrepreneurship?

What is social procurement and how may it contribute to community development?

What are some innovative university-based programs in social entrepreneurship education?

How are coworking spaces, accelerators, and incubators influencing the social enterprise movement?

To contribute a manuscript for this colloquium, please email no more than a 250- to 500-word abstract to Rasheda L. Weaver at rweaver@iona.edu no later than March 1, 2020  Acceptances will be sent by March 15, 2020.

Full manuscripts are not required. The colloquium has always been as much of a collaborative workshop of scholars sharing ideas as it is of presenting new research. However, should you have a draft, submit as soon as you can in advance of the conference to facilitate conference attendees to review your paper and provide substantial feedback during and after your presentation.

We are eagerly looking forward to seeing you in New Rochelle. Please feel free to contact either of us via email.
