The board of Public Policy, Politics, & Law (PPPL), a research section of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA), invites paper proposals for the 2019 ARNOVA conference in San Diego, CA.

The PPPL invites individual paper proposals from PPPL members related to the section objectives, which include:

Exploring the impact of government policy on the nonprofit sector.

Examining the relationship between political processes, advocacy, and lobbying and the nonprofit sector.

Investigating the relationship between legislative and legal processes on the nonprofit sector.

Understanding the role of the nonprofit sector in policy implementation, and service delivery.

Surveying the intersection of the nonprofit sector, public policy, and law in an international context.

Successful proposals must be submitted emailed to the PPPL chair, jpthornt@samford.edu by March 22, 2019 to be considered. All proposals must meet ARNOVA submission criteria, which include:

1. Author affiliation, phone #, email, coauthors

2. Title (less than 20 words)

3. A working title and short abstract (<=100 words)

4. 3 keywords

5. An extended abstract (<=1,000 words) which includes the following:

It is expected that applicants will commit to presenting their paper at 2019 ARNOVA conference. Session participants must be a member of both ARNOVA and PPPL.
