The election for board members for ARNOVA’s Social Entrepreneurship/Enterprise Section (SEES) took place during the annual SEES meeting at the 2017 ARNOVA conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The newly elected board members for ARNOVA’s Social Entrepreneurship/Enterprise Section are:

Section and Track Chair
Rasheda L. Weaver, PhD
Assistant Professor of Community Entrepreneurship
University of Vermont

Section Vice-Chair
Crystal Trull
PhD Candidate and Adjunct Faculty
University of San Diego
Section Member at Large
Tiara Dungy
PhD Student
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)

Please save the date for the SEES research colloquium scheduled for May 31 - June 1, 2018 in San Diego, California.  This colloquium is designed to support social enterprise research at all stages with small sessions that allow for generative and constructive discussion.  There is no cost to attend the colloquium (we'll work on a conference rate with a local hotel) and it will take place on the University of San Diego campus.

Additional details will be provided in January about paper submission and conference logistics, but to give you an idea of the schedule, we will meet for dinner Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 will be dedicated to a full day of presentations, discussions, and possibly a keynote speaker during lunch.

Feel free to contact Crystal Trull at for any questions you may have.  Otherwise, be on the lookout for further details in January.
