The Early Scholars Section (ESS) had an exciting fall! We organized a webinar in October called "Marketing Yourself: Multiple Perspectives on the Job Search," which featured Dr. Heather Carpenter of Notre Dame of Maryland University and Dr. Lori Ghosal of North Carolina State University. We look forward to continuing these webinars in 2018.

At this year's ARNOVA conference we launched our "Buddy Program," where we paired conference-savvy early scholars with new conference attendees. In addition, we had great representation at our annual ESS membership meeting (see the attached photo) and were thrilled to welcome several Undergraduate Diversity Scholars to our section meeting.

Finally, we are pleased to announce the new ESS leadership team: Dr. Jodi Benenson (Chair), Kate Albrecht (Vice Chair), Dr. Maria Wathen (Treasurer), Sara Neyer (Secretary), Dr. Jamie Levine Daniel (At-Large), Dr. Mirae Kim, (At-Large), Robert Ressler (At-Large).
