Indianapolis, IN (September 15, 2017) - The Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) is pleased to announce two new staff members that have joined in September 2017.  Holly Titus will serve as Associate Director, and Gloria Worstell is serving as the Membership Secretary.

HOLLY TITUS brings a wealth of experience in Higher Education and nonprofit organizations throughout the country in a diversity of roles and organizational types.  Committed to a mission of impactful servant leadership, Holly draws upon her direct experience and skills in nonprofit leadership and program development, operational and organization management, educational and business development assessment, and she is dedicated to serving membership goals as Associate Director of ARNOVA.

“We are really excited to have Holly join ARNOVA as our new associate director.  This is a new position that reflects the growth in both our members, scope of work and service to members.  With over seventeen years’ experience, Holly will be managing the day-to-day operations and also assisting in the implementation of a new strategic plan,” stated Shariq Siddiqui, Executive Director.

“My passion has always been in education and the nonprofit sector.  I am so grateful and honored to be serving the membership of ARNOVA, where these two powerful social forces interact for the greater good.  I am also excited to work with Dr. Siddiqui and the rest of the team toward the goals set for our growing organization in the next few years.”

Holly holds a B.A. in Interpersonal and Public Communication from Central Michigan University, and a M. Ed. in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago.  Previously, she has served at Southern Methodist University, the YMCA of the Northwoods, Ball State University, and most recently as Executive Director of Freewheelin’ Community Bikes.  In her personal time, Holly enjoys cycling with her daughter, volunteering with organizations that serve youth, and she enjoys fixing up and finding new homes for eccentric mid-century items.

Gloria worked closely with the Chair of IUPUI’s Department of English as the Graduate Secretary. Though new to the non-profit sector, Gloria is enthusiastic about this new chapter in her life and is confident that her experience will greatly benefit the ARNOVA community.
