ARNOVA 2017 Post-Conference Session

The governance leadership team is once again planning a special governance session to be held on Saturday afternoon of the 2017 ARNOVA conference. This year’s session topic is advocacy. We are interested in examining how boards can be mobilized around this topic. While we are only in the early stages of planning, we will again be debating a red-hot issue and using case studies to emphasize the issues. We are also organizing a lightning talk Colloquy “Myth Busters: Governance Edition”. There are lots of myths about nonprofit governance, which ones are founded, which ones should be debunked? This promises to be a lively and interactive session.

Stay tuned for further details as the conference approaches!

We are interested in organizing a ‘virtual’ meeting this summer. We will be in touch soon with more details.
