Conference Scholarships and Travel Grants

Every year ARNOVA's Annual Conference provides a chance to share and celebrate new research, to interact with colleagues and forge new relationships, and to seize opportunities for collaboration and community-building across boundaries.  In turn, this results in new and better research, teaching, practice, and policy-making in our field.

As a multi-disciplinary membership organization, ARNOVA values the unique perspective each member brings to the conference and does not believe that limited means should be an obstacle to attending the event.

These scholarships and travel grants are designed to allow ARNOVA members of all income levels to be given the opportunity to join over 800 researchers, scholars and practitioners from around the world at the Annual Conference.

As part of ARNOVA's ongoing commitment to diversity, we especially encourage applications from under-represented minority students and faculty, US and international doctoral students studying philanthropy, civil society, nonprofit organizations, and related topics; unemployed ARNOVA members; and practitioners in nonprofit organizations.  Priority is given to presenters at the Annual Conference, first-time attendees, and individuals who have not received a scholarship award in the past three years.

Your contribution to this fund will help provide scholarships that include a travel stipend of up to $250 and/or remission of conference registration fees.
