|Thank you for trusting Metropolitan Nannies to care for your children during the 2016 ARNOVA Conference. We pride ourselves on providing the safest and most qualified professionals in the industry. All of our childcare providers exceed the national requirements set forth by the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies. This includes:
ü A thorough candidate application.
ü Proof that candidates are legally authorized to work in the United States.
ü An in-person interview of all job candidates.
ü Reference checks for candidates to include: childcare, and/or employment, and personal references.
ü A background check on candidates in localities in which the candidate has resided and/or worked for a specific number of years, including a check of criminal and motor vehicle records if driving is required.
ü A CPR certificate for infant, toddler and adult CPR.
As mentioned above, our Childcare providers exceed these minimum requirements.
Reservations should be made no later than 10 days prior to the event. A reservation request can be made by e-mail or our direct number: firstname.lastname@example.org or (703) 481-3181. Once the reservation has been confirmed, the reservation fee is non-refundable should a cancellation occur. Each family is required to pay a min of 4 hours and if the family cancels less than 24 hours in advance of the event, the family is required to still pay for the 4 hour reservation.
Fees: $40 reservation fee per day and per family. For events with multiple reservations, the reservation fee is $20 per day and per family. *Additional fees may apply for holidays.
Nanny cost: $20 per hour for up to 2 children. $2 charge per each child under the age of 2. $2 charge per child for more than 2 children.
The Nanny will come to your hotel room to stay with your child/ren during the contracted hours. Some activities inside the hotel may include decorating a plate/mug, survival bracelets, making lip gloss, lava lamps and for the little children we offer story time with coordinated crafts. There is also an option to organize daily activities for the nanny and child/ren to participate in during your stay. You will have the opportunity to choose from various options; some free and some at a discounted price. Possible options include trips to the National Zoo, Newseum, Air & Space, Museum of Natural History, and the Washington Monument.
Metropolitan Nannies would like to make your visit to the DC area memorable for your family. We are open to special requests and able to customize any event. Two to three weeks prior to your arrival you can expect to receive an itinerary with options for your children and their reserved nanny.
