ARNOVA is pleased to announce that The Alliance for Nonprofit Management (ANM) will be holding its conference in conjunction with the ARNOVA conference at the Hyatt Capitol Hill in November 2016. The partnership includes a forum organized by the ARNOVA Pracademics Section and ANM leadership on Research to Practice and a number of sessions organized by ANM at the ARNOVA conference. ANM attendees will attend the ARNOVA conference and will have the opportunity to connect with ARNOVA members throughout the conference. This is a unique opportunity to connect scholars and practitioners through a focus on research in our field.
ANM, is a national knowledge community dedicated to building the capacity of individuals, organizations and communities working to achieve positive social change and cultural enrichment. Using a “Research to Practice” platform, the Alliance is committed to identifying and exploring both academic and practitioner research and field experiences in peer-to-peer exchanges designed to identify how capacity builders can increase the effectiveness, efficiency and impact for their clients and communities. The Alliance platform encourages intergenerational dialogue, research, development, and dissemination of cutting-edge theory and practices critical to the success of the nonprofits that we all work with across the country. Sessions at the conference promote effective practices in leadership transitions, racial equity, cross-sector collaborations, community engagement, and evaluation practices among many other conference topics.
