Planning for the 2016 ARNOVA conference is well underway in the Teaching Section. We are currently developing a new event, a Teaching Section Networking Lunch, so please stay tuned for upcoming details. We welcome both current and new Teaching Section members to this event, and if you are not yet a Teaching Section member and would like to find out more about who we are and what we do, feel free to join us as well. We are also working on details for the Teaching Section Pre-conference Workshop. Our theme this year is, "Big Data, Small Data, No Data." We will explore the introduction and use of data in the nonprofit classroom, including data related to nonprofit programming, fundraising, volunteer management, and impact assessment. We will also discuss the potential opportunities, limitations, and inherent tensions surrounding the collection and usage of nonprofit data.
