The ARNOVA Early Scholars Section has been hard at work, and we are thrilled to welcome nearly new 80 members to the section. We spent time during our ARNOVA section meeting in November surveying our members about what they want from the section, and the Steering Committee is in the process of developing a plan to engage membership based on these survey results.
We also invite all early scholars to take the Early Scholars Diversity Survey, which we hope will inform efforts toward a more inclusive and diverse section. For more information and to take the survey, visit: www.arnova.org/page/ESSDiversitySurvey.
We are also excited to announce the first webinar sponsored by our section, entitled: "How to Be a Productive Early Scholar: Summer Edition." This webinar will take place on April 26, 2016 from 1-2pm (EDT) and will be free for all ARNOVA members. The webinar will feature Dr. Chao Guo and Dr. Peter Frumkin (both of the University of Pennsylvania) and will address best practices for being productive as an early scholar in the nonprofit sector. For more information and to register for the webinar, visit: www.arnova.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=791815.
