Every year we receive a number of requests for pre-conference, post-conference and meetings during the conference. The number of requests continue to grow as does the size and scope of the conference program. The conference in Washington DC is particularly challenging because of the limited amount of meeting space along with the increasing trend in conference programming and proposals. This year there will be limited number of meeting rooms available on Wednesday, November 16 and Saturday, November 19.
We welcome groups to hold meetings and sessions throughout our meeting dates and have developed a request form to help organized and expedite the process. Meeting space can be used by sections, common interest groups and members for activities that are related to the mission of ARNOVA. Examples include (but are not limited to) mini-symposiums, research convenings, book projects, committee meetings and networking activities. Priory will be given to sections, common interest groups and then members. Please submit all requests for per and post conference meeting space by May 15. Submissions will be reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee for selection and decisions will be provided to applicants by June 1.
