Check the Status of Your Abstract Submission

If you have submitted a proposal for the 2007 ARNOVA Conference, you should have received notification about the results of the review process - and the acceptance or rejection of your paper for the conference - in July. If you submitted and heard nothing, please be in touch with our office ASAP.

Also, please note that if your proposal is accepted, you will be required to send one copy of your completed paper to the Chair for your session by October 19, 2007.

We will send you information about the scheduling of your session, no later than the end of September.

Information for '07 Conference Presenters

  • The complete schedule of conference sessions will be posted on the ARNOVA website by the beginning of October. The date, time, and session number of each presentation will also be e-mailed to the primary contact person before the end of September.
  • Authors of individual papers will be able to upload their working papers to the ARNOVA website by October 19. (Instructions will be forwarded to the authors by mid-October.)
  • If you do not wish to make your paper available in that way, then please note that we expect you to e-mail a copy of your paper to your session chair by October 19.  (Information about who is chairing your session will be provided in early October.)  This will allow session chairs to have papers for review prior to the conference. Uploading to the website will also allow persons especially interested in your topic to read your work in advance and come to your session with more thoughtful questions.
  • Authors of all papers are still encouraged to bring several copies of their papers to the conference for distribution. Colloquy participants should bring prepared comments for distribution.
  • All session rooms will be equipped with overhead projectors and screens. Due to very high costs, LCD projectors will not be provided. If you have PowerPoint slides, please have them made into transparencies for use with the overhead projectors.
  • All presenters must register for the conference. Click here to register online. Or, you may also register via mail or fax using the printed registration form. This form will also be mailed to you with the conference information brochure in September. Remember to register by October 17 to obtain the early bird rates!
